Eric Samler

 

Eric graduated from the Washington College of Law at American University in 1986 and is a member of the state bars of Maryland, the District of Columbia, New Mexico, and Colorado. He served as a staff attorney for the New Mexico Court of Appeals and has 36 years of appellate experience. Eric is a frequent presenter at Legal Education seminars. He has a number of published works including, for years, preparation of the Criminal Law Update in the Colorado Bar Association’s annual update of Criminal Law. More recently, he has litigated and trained extensively on issues related to lengthy sentences for juvenile conduct and for adults convicted of felony murder.
