Kaitlin Fleur Nares is an associate attorney at Fisher & Byrialsen, PLLC. Kaitlin has been with the firm since August of 2012. She specializes in Civil Rights and Federal Criminal Defense. Kaitlin graduated with honors from St. John's University School of Law and earned her undergraduate degree in sociology and political science cum laude from Vanderbilt University.
Kaitlin is licensed to practice law in both state and federal courts of Colorado, New Jersey, and New York. Kaitlin feels at home in federal court. She has fiercely litigated for her client's civil rights in the United States District Court of Colorado, the United States District of New Jersey, the Southern District of New York, and the Eastern District of New York. Like David against Goliath, Kaitlin has obtained successful settlements against the government agencies that violated her client's rights to life, liberty, property, due process, and equal protection of the laws. Kaitlin collaborates with the Colorado Civil Rights Pro Bono Panel.
Kaitlin is also devoted to advocating for those caught in the chaos and confusion of the criminal justice system. Kaitlin assists with Federal Criminal Justice Act cases in the District of Colorado, Southern District of New York, and Eastern District of New York.
