Judd B. Shaw personally serves a wide variety of healthcare clients, including multi-disciplinary practices, physicians and physician groups, hospitals, ambulatory care facilities, diagnostic facilities, skilled or certified practitioners, billing managers and supply care companies. Due to Judd’s substantial experience in the New Jersey No-Fault Arbitration process, Judd is often called upon to assist in navigating through the alternative dispute resolution process, including how to challenge or enforce arbitration awards. Judd spends considerable time monitoring the industry’s ever-changing healthcare regulations, orders, bulletins and case law as well as changes in the advancing medical technology, particularly in the way spinal surgeries are performed. Judd’s experience includes the excessively regulated specialty areas that are of particular interest to the healthcare industry, including compliance, self-referral, anti-kickback, payment and reimbursement matters, license and certification and coverage issues. Judd is widely respected for his depth of industry knowledge and ability to recover PIP medical expense benefits for his clients.
Judd graduated from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center in 2002 and served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Ronald B. Sokalski, Assistant Presiding Judge of the Criminal Division for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic Vicinage. Judd resides in New York City with his wife and two children.
