David P. Kreizer is a partner with the firm. He concentrates his practice on civil litigation with a specific emphasis on personal injury and civil rights litigation. He also handles commercial matters for a select number of clients. David has extensive litigation experience having handled claims on behalf of his clients in the state and federal courts of both New York and New Jersey.
David’s personal injury experience includes wrongful death, car accidents, pedestrian accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, workplace injuries, assaults and defective products. His civil rights practice encompasses all types of police misconduct including false arrest, false imprisonment, police brutality and malicious prosecution. In addition, he handles a wide variety of discrimination claims from sexual harassment to whistleblowing and race discrimination in the workplace.
David graduated in 2002 from Skidmore College with a B.A. in Management & Business and a Minor in Spanish. He was awarded his J.D. by New York Law School in 2005 where he was a member of the Dean’s List. Immediately following law school, David received a one year appointment to serve as Law Clerk to the Honorable Marilyn C. Clark, Presiding Judge of the Criminal Division for the Superior Court of New Jersey – Passaic County.
David has a Martindale-Hubbell rating of “AV Preeminent” from other members of the legal profession which is “a testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence.” Additionally, in 2013 David was selected to the Super Lawyers – New York Metro list of Rising Stars, an honor bestowed upon less than 2.5 % of the area’s attorneys. He is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, the District of New Jersey, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
