Alissa M. Boshnack is an associate at Fisher, Byrialsen & Kreizer, PLLC. She has a broad range of litigation experience in State, Federal and Appellate courts. Her current areas of practice include Criminal Defense and Civil Rights Litigation. She has become involved in a number of complex cases including the Central Park Jogger civil rights litigation and criminal defense matters where clients have faced sentences as severe as life imprisonment.
Ms. Boshnack graduated from Cornell University, cum laude, with a B.S. in Communication and a concentration in Spanish. She went on to graduate from the University of Miami School of Law in 2009, where she was a Clinic Fellow for the Children and Youth Law Clinic. As a Clinic Fellow, she advocated on behalf of foster care children and was awarded the Henry Bandier Fellowship and the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement for Outstanding Academic Performance.
Ms. Boshnack is also active in the legal community. She is a member of the Leadership Committee of the UJA-Federation Young Lawyers Division and the University of Miami School of Law New York Alumni Association.
Ms. Boshnack is admitted to practice law in New York, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
